The Problem

Restaurants expanded into merchandise and packaged goods, but Fabizi POS was designed exclusively for food operations. There was no unified way to treat retail items distinctly while enabling a seamless checkout experience.

What We Did

Built a dual-domain item system (food vs retail), SKU modeling, barcode workflows, variant support, and Flutter POS auto-adaptive UI for mixed baskets.

Outcome

Early adopters increased average ticket size by 12–20%. Retail items gained full inventory + POS integration without additional systems.
